Spotgamers E-Sports League Is Here!

Spotgamers is proud to announce today the commencement of Spotgamers E-Sports League here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 6 March 2010 to 24 April 2010 at Autosurf Cybercafe, Taman Taynton View, Cheras brought to you by FTEG Technology Sdn Bhd.

Spotgamers E-Sports League is made possible with the support of Sendi Mutiara Multimedia Sdn Bhd, Gamers Dotcom Sdn Bhd and Electronic Sports Professional Sdn Bhd. Spotgamers E-Sports League will serve as a platform for content generation for Spotgamers.com and to showcase high level professional gaming in Malaysia.

Spotgamers E-Sports League is a professional gaming league and will feature 18 of top FIFA players and 8 top Defense of the Ancients team, battling against each other for the bragging rights as the best player and team in Malaysia. It will be conducted by using the combination of round robin and Swiss System League where each player will be pitted against another player who has done as well (or poorly) as him or herself.

Registration would commence on February 8, 2010 onwards until February 21, 2010 at 11.59 pm. Although the registration is by invitation for the inaugural season of Spotgamers E-Sports League, players or teams are allowed to submit their gaming resume to be reviewed for selection purpose.

The prizes for FIFA and Defense of the Ancients are as follows:-

FIFA Prizes:

Champion : RM1000
1st Runner Up: RM800
2nd Runner Up: RM600
4th : RM400
5th : RM300
6th : RM200
7th : RM150
8th : RM100
9th-18th : Sponsored prizes

DOTA Prizes:

Champion : RM2500
1st Runner Up: RM2000
2nd Runner Up: RM1500
4th : RM1000
5th : RM800
6th : RM600
7th : RM400
8th : RM200

For the time being, we have to start with 2 games first, which is DotA and FIFA. If the response is good, we would add up more games.

For the moment we can only accommodate 1 team game and 1 individual game due to lack of resources.

But of course it is our intention in the future to expand to other games as well ^^

If this league a success, we will bring more games inside guaranteed ^^

Hi Kokakopi,

Gaming resume is your gaming achievement or experience through out your competitive years.

Because Spotgamers E-Sports League is a professional league, we will only select the best gamers/teams to join our league. So it is not a place for gamers/teams who are afraid of the high intense skills level or get pwned.

So if you have a very good achievements or one of the top players in Malaysia, you will be more likely to be selected to join the league.

So obviously you can expect high profile players to join this league. Its the only place where players wont be banned for their uber skills, in fact it is highly appreciated ^^

The day is getting near.
